Flore K. is a New York based accessories brand currently offering leather and straw handbags as well as refined jewelry that will be in your closet forever. First founded as a jewelry label, the brand has since evolved into a broader design vision, rooted in storytelling, craftsmanship, and intentional beauty. Existing at the intersection of heritage, culture, and coastal elegance, Flore K. is inspired by African fashion and the sculptural beauty of seashells.

Flore K. draws from traditions where embellishment carries meaning and presence. It is a statement brand for discerning clients who value story, craftsmanship, and distinct design. As the brand continues to grow, Flore K. remains committed to offering pieces that bring cultural depth and coastal elegance into an advance contemporary context.

Flore K. designs are meant to be seen, felt, collected, and remembered. Created for those who approach fashion with the goal of standing out rather than blending in.

From Dakar to Nantucket, from Yaoundé to Rio de Janeiro, Flore K. travels with you.

For the seashell lovers and collectors, for the dreamers who gather treasures along distant shores, for those whose shells are woven into their culture and memory, our bags belong wherever your story unfolds.
In Marrakesh and Martha’s Vineyard, in Paris, Miami, London, Accra, Zanzibar, Saint-Tropez, and Mombasa, Flore K. is made for a world without borders.
Our founder's story began in Cameroon where she witnessed firsthand the deep cultural and spiritual significance of cowrie shells. Once used as currency, and still revered in rituals, divination, and adornment, cowrie shells symbolize femininity, prosperity, protection, and a sacred connection to the sea. These meanings are woven into the soul of the brand, transforming each piece into more than an accessory; it becomes a vessel of history and intention.
Inspired by her African roots and a lifelong fascination with seashells, she infuses every design with the spirit of the sea and Africa’s bold, expressive energy. The ocean - fluid, powerful, and timeless, mirrors the essence of the brand, while African fashion informs its sculptural forms, presence, and sense of storytelling through artful detailing.
